Downward Facing Baby

Apparently Aine is into yoga; she's always getting into this position. (She's even on her tippy toes.)
Once I started taking pictures of Aine, Leah insisted I take her picture too!

"Little" Miss Aine

Here are some recent pictures of our "little" baby girl :)
Getting a bath from big sister...
I didn't even have to crop the picture...her belly took care of that!

Work it, work it...
Look closely and you can see her two teeth...
She loves to stick out her tongue...

Tallahassee Visit

Since the girls and I had some time to kill, we decided to break up the monotony and headed to Tally for a quick visit. We went to see my friend, Debbie. Unfortunately it was too short of a visit (we got there around 1130 on Saturday and left early Sunday morning), but it was well worth the drive. It was great catching up with Debbie and her mom...and well worth watching Leah play with her son, Sebastian. When I told her Friday night we were going to see Sebastian the next day, so thought I meant the crab from the Little Mermaid! (haha) So I said, "No, it's a different Sebastian.". So the rest of the evening and Saturday morning she told me we were going to see a "different Bastian". :) The girls travelled well...and if I never hear Elmo and Barney again, I'll be quite happy! Leah and Sebastian played with fingerpaints (and their clothes prove it!), bounced in his bounce house and took a bath together (yikes! :) )

Deb lives across from a beautiful lake with a path encircling it. We walked down to the park; although Sebastian pedaled his scooter. Leah really liked it and took to it quickly. Who knows, we may have just discovered her next birthday present!
Here she is trying to catch up with "Bastian"

She was is a total daze...frozen like this for a while :)
With Deb's mom on the front stoop...
More zoning out to some show...

Easter Portraits with Grandma

When my mom visited a while back, we went to get portraits taken with the girls. This was their first "official" picture in matching outfits. Yes....I am that mom! My mom bought them some adorable outfits, and it was great timing for the photo shoot :) I think they turned out great, and it was fun watching them get their pictures taken!

Standing Up

Aine's been pulling up on everything lately, so I lowered her crib a week or so ago. I'm really glad I did because this is how I found her this morning!

Mom Visits

My mom came for a visit this weekend, and we had a really nice time. Leah loved all the attention and having someone lie down with her to take a nap (Mom-you've set me up...now she expects me to do it! :) ) Unfortunately Aine's breaking tooth and/or congestion left her very mommy-centric, but overall, she was still her happy self...mostly :) And I loved the break from having to entertain Leah 24/7!

Thanks for coming mom...we love you!

Mom and Leah watching Zoe, Elmo and Big Bird sing "Do What I Do Songs".
(Don't worry...she wasn't on the cold wood floor too long!)

Mom and Leah decorating cookies. Let's just say Leah still has not learned the meaning of moderation when it comes to sprinkles :)

Oh my! Doesn't that look....appetizing?!
We went to dinner at Harry T's and then walked briefly on the boardwalk. It was right around sunset, and there were some dolphin in the harbor. Unfortunately I was the only one to see them.

We went for a walk on the beach. It was really windy (as the flowing hair might give away)...

Her first time in the high chair...
Mom brought Leah a princess outfit. She LOVED it! In fact she wanted to wear it every day.

Pop-Pop Visit

My dad came last week for a really nice visit although it was too short! It was a really nice break for me...and I'm sure for Leah too :) She loved having her Pop-Pop's 24/7 attention and would get jealous when he held Aine. She would immediately say "Watch this Pop-Pop!" Too cute :)

Kisses for Pop-Pop:
In the swing waiting for Pop-Pop to arrive:
I like how the sun is shining down on her...
She got static build-up every time she went down the slide which would cause her hair to stand up. It was hilarious! Our own miniature Einstein....
I love the look on her face:
A wee bit of intensity...
