Back in the "Crackie" (Albuquerque)

We had a long travel day on Sunday. We left home at 8:30 AM and finally got situated in the room around 7:30 PM (which was really 8:30 PM Ft Walton time). Our connecting flight in Dallas was delayed 2 hours which got us in a little too late to meet up with Kelley, Frank and the girls. All things being said though, it was a good travel day. Leah was wonderful! And after a dose of sedative, Boo was great too. Our "apartment" is pretty big. We have 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a TV room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen has a washer/dryer in it...it's so convenient.
Our hotel...

Another shot of those teeth. The top center left has broken through and the right is just behind it

Eric and Leah on the flight into ABQ.

Having some lunch (and Mojitos...well, just Eric and I) at Fridays during our extended layover.

The cat in his carrier...

This cat is so funny..look at how he sits

Here come my "tooths"

Well, it's taken some time but my "tooths" have decided to show themselves...I didn't make it easy for the parents to get this picture but they were persistant! My bottom 2 teeth have broken through and the top 2 are very close behind....I'm an all or nothing kind of girl!

I'm almost 9 months and ready for driving lessons. When Daddy learned to drive he was told "he drives like a cop"...makes sense since one taught him. I wonder what someone will say about my driving...."Drive it like you stole it!"

We had a blast flying this airplane, I would have liked to eat the plane but the P's just kept wanting to make it fly...I just don't get them some days!
This feeding thing has gotten easier by the day...
Not sure where this face is coming from...it's my new thing, gotta keep the P's guessing!

This is me watching my favorite TV show, Yo Gabba Gabba. Needless to say I love this show!

Hope you like my first blog. Love you Leah!

Attack of the Naked Baby

While being dried off from her bath, Leah rolled over, crawled over to me and proceeded to "attack" me.

What cute little pig-tails! Her hair is so fine and only really grows on the "wings" that it took me quite a few loops to secure the pony-tail holders.

Now That's a Fire

The pine tree in our backyard left us lots of fuel (pine needles, dead branches/twigs) for a nighttime fire. It's been so pleasant out lately...the fire was really great.

Eric's (Finally) Home!

Eric made it home safely Friday night and spent his Saturday unpacking, grocery shopping and lounging around with Leah, Booby and me. We all took a late afternoon nap on our bed...it was so relaxing.

Before that, we cleared out some clothes from Leah's room that she's outgrown. We had fun playing dress up with bonnets, glasses and shoes...with Booby too!

Trying to break into the "wine cave"...

Our friend Becky came over the other day, and I got to meet her month-old son, Andrew William. (To me) he doesn't seem to favor either Becky or Brent, but is an even mix of both of them. He's such a sweet little boy!

Sick Leah

Leah woke me in the middle of the night last week with a 104 degree fever. She's teething and I've read that some babies will run a fever, but that seemed a little high. She wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary either. Turns out she had an ear infection. The doctor gave her Amoxicillin, and she had a rash reaction to it. Thank you Jesus that it wasn't worse! They gave her something else, and she's now back to normal...and thankfully sleeping through the night again. I didn't realize how much I took that for granted!

My friend Bobby brought over a gift for Leah...a huge doggy stuffed animal. She doesn't quite know what to make of it yet...and neither does Booby!

Back to normal

Eric's Ski Trip

Weekend before last, Eric went skiing with his cousins, Lynne and Gary, and some of their friends. Eric had a great time and realized how much he missed skiing.

And of course, here are some pictures of Leah...
