The real reason we went to NY was for Karen's surprise 60th party. We got lucky that Thanksgiving was just a couple days before the party, so we were able to celebrate both with the family. Unfortunately Eric got sick a day or two prior, and Karen suggested an hour or two before the party that we just forget about going out to "dinner" so Eric could chill out at home. We convinced her to go anyway...thankfully. And she was truly surprised! It was a great night, and the food was delicious! Happy birthday Karen...we love you!
