A Rough Week

It was a pretty bad week for me (and thus for poor Eric also). I felt really rundown Wednesday afternoon and then slept all day Thursday and Friday. Eric brought Aine to me for feedings and then away again. I'm still not 100%, but I am out of bed. I'm not in pjs. I'm showered! Thank you Jesus!!

I forgot to upload the pictures off of my phone for a while, so some of the pictures this week are a bit old....oh well. This maaaaay surprise some of you, but I'm NOT perfect :)

The girls tried on Vinny's fro wig at the Groovy New Year's party. Leah loved having it on and having her picture taken in it...

Eric's office had a Christmas potluck. It was yummy (but it involved food and those of you who know me...know I would enjoy that!)

Aine's Dedication

The Week in Review

This is how Aine sleeps...face down! If you move her head, she'll just move it right back. It's soooo freaky. (Nice bald spot, huh?)

We went to Grafitti's the other night with Tracy and the girls. It was really cold out, but that didn't stop Leah and Katherine from enjoying the playground before dinner.

Tracy, Katherine and Libby came over for dinner last night, and since the girls ate so well (amazing feat for one of them to eat well...but both? Sweet!) we let them decorate cookies. They seem to like using A LOT of sprinkles to express their creativity! But they were good....

We hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve. Ours was groooovy! Vince and Adrienne threw a 70s-style party, so we hit the Waterfront Mission for some fab clothes. It was a great time, but we left around 9 so we could get the kids to bed (and me too). Eric stayed up to watch the ball drop.

Aine's First "Real" Food

We gave Aine some rice cereal last week, and I think she had mixed emotions. The first time she registered confusion although she did seem interested and ate. Since then, she hasn't had much interest in it. We gave her avocado yesterday, and I'm not too sure she liked it. We'll do bananas next...hopefully with a better response :)
