Snow Day

I.can't.believe.it!!! Blogger has actually let me upload a photo!!! 

I haven't updated the blog in quite a while NOT because I had forgotten to, but because Blogger wouldn't let me upload anything. So hopefully that is now in  the past :)

We had quite a bit of snow on Saturday night, and woke up to a winter wonderland. The girls were soooo excited to go out and play in it. And to make a snowwoman (yes...of course it is a girl, with a pink hat!). Hope everyone is doing well. We'll try to post more soon :) But you can always check out new pics on my (Danielle's) Facebook page. It's MUCH easier to upload to FB.

First Day of School

Their first day of school was a couple weeks ago, but Blogger wasn't letting me post anything at the time. This picture is just too cute not to post a little late :)

Lakenheath Bazaar

So apparently I'm back in Blogger's good graces and can now FINALLY post more photos.

There was a bazaar this weekend at Lakenheath with lots of vendors, food and games for the kiddos. We got most of our Christmas shopping  done and the girls had fun on the rides. Bonus and...bonus! It was incredibly hot for October; it was in the 80s! In fact we were searching out shade. 

The girls had their first corndogs. Aine was very intent on it. Leah had 2!

Punting on the River Cam

We went to Cambridge today and went punting. It was such a beautiful day and we wanted to be outside in the sunshine. Leah was really excited to go 'hunting' on the river...she's too cute. Aine enjoyed watching the ducks swim near the boat. It was a 40 minute tour, but it felt much faster. Soooo relaxing. We're definitely going to do that again!

School's Out For Summa...

Leah had her last day of school last week, and they had a little ceremony to present all of the kids with a certificate. We sat outside and watched as they 'marched' out to their seats. Once Leah saw us, she smiled big and ran over to us...so much for protocol :) She had taken swimming lessons this year, and the swimming teacher made up certificates for them too. Soooo Leah got 2 certificates!!! (She liked the swimming one the best). Then the kids were released to us, and we were able to have a little picnic. It was a really great day. I'm so glad Eric was able to be there for it too :)
